February has been a very busy month onsite, with key construction items noted below for stages 1, 2 and 3:
All precast panels and structural steel installed.
The first delivery of CLT flooring panels have arrived onsite from XLAM factory in Australia. CLT is a cross-laminated timber slab which fixes into the structural steel and forms the lightweight level 2 + 3 floors.
Backfilling of units following the completion of the concrete pours for the clamping beams.
Under-slab services are being installed, including the stormwater and wastewater drainage.
Ground floor slab formwork prep and concrete pour.
Formwork for level 1 slabs are being installed, ahead of laying reinforcing and pouring of concrete.
We have started the installation of precast panels and structural steel.
Stage 3C detailed excavation has been completed, and site concrete poured.
Wellington Electricity transformer has been installed and connected to the grid.
Our construction partner (Aoraki Construction) will be loading regular project updates onto their website here but in the interim, a selection of images from around the site are below:

Apartmento: programme dates for the commencement and completion of Apartmento are still to be confirmed, we are still awaiting consents to be approved by Wellington City Council, with our foundation consent lodged in August 2021. This has been escalated within Council and we are hopeful to have this confirmed soon. This will enable these works to be completed.
Please note we have had delays due to COVID19 and a delay notice will be formalised with your solicitor, which may see your sunset dates pushed out for completion.
